Three-way ball valves can be classified by connection method into flanged three-way ball valves, threaded three-way ball valves, welded three-way ball valves, and clamp three-way ball valves.
Functions of three-way ball valves:
- Equipped with valve opening position indication or closing position indication.
- The external pneumatic pilot has a longer service life and is maintenance-free.
- There is an automatically adjustable sealing gland between the overflow port and the sliding block to improve sealing performance.
- The angle seat structure of the valve body can achieve large flow, compact structure, and fast response.
The installation and maintenance of three-way ball valves must comply with applicable safety regulations.
- The pipeline must be clean and tidy.
- Install as needed, but it is better to have the actuator facing upward. Pay attention to the flow direction.
- When connecting the valve, ensure alignment with the pipeline. The actuator should only be removed when specifically required by the user.
- Before opening or repairing the three-way ball valve, the liquid should be shut off and the air supply should be controlled to reduce the pressure in the pipeline system.
Three-way ball valves are a type of pipeline switch commonly used in automatic control systems, such as various automation equipment in printing and weaving, dyeing and finishing, bleaching, food processing, cleaning, chemical industry, water treatment, medical treatment, etc. They feature low noise and reliable sealing performance.
