Chongqing Baishiyi Valve Research Institute, founded in 1986 (now known as Chongqing Teto Valve Co., Ltd.), has a registered capital of 22 million yuan, a factory building area of 5000 square meters, and is equipped with 100 sets of machine tools. The company has more than 80 employees, of which 30% are technical research and development personnel.

The company was one of the original domestic manufacturers designated by the former Ministry of Chemical Industry for the production of Finnish NELES lock hopper valves used in Texaco gasifiers (at Shandong Lunan Chemical Fertilizer Plant), making it the first technology enterprise in the coal chemical industry to repair lock hopper valves.

Since 1995, the company has been dedicated to the research and development of metal hard-sealed ball valves. By 1998, they had achieved significant breakthroughs, particularly in the thermal spraying process on metal spherical surfaces, becoming the first company in China to adopt this process for surface hardening of spherical surfaces in hard-sealed ball valves.

After years of development and research, the company now mainly focuses on manufacturing metal hard-sealed ball valves (including oxygen cut-off valves, nitrogen purge valves, slag lock hopper valves, etc., suitable for harsh conditions in coal chemical industries), eccentric rotary valves, black water ash water angle valves, track ball valves, disc valves, slide plate valves, and other special-purpose valves. They serve industries such as petrochemicals, coal chemicals, thermal power, gas, metallurgy, etc., with their products being stable and reliable upon deployment, earning consistent praise from users over the years.

In response to customer needs, the company has long undertaken the maintenance of imported brands' metal hard-sealed ball valves, oxygen regulating and cutting valves, nitrogen purge valves, slag lock hopper valves, control valves, angle valves, eccentric rotary valves, disc valves, slide plate valves, ORBIT track ball valves, triple offset butterfly valves, and other special-purpose valves.

The company has solved issues related to the repair and supply of spare parts for imported lock hopper ball valves for three out of the earliest four Texaco facilities in China (Shandong Lunan Chemical Fertilizer Plant, Anhui Huaihua Group, Shaanxi Weihe Chemical Fertilizer Plant). It repairs well-known international brands such as ARGUS, TYCO(KTM/FCT), PERRIN, NELES, MOGAS, BOGERMAN, etc., including slag valves, oxygen cut-off valves, and oxygen regulating valves.

The company has established a comprehensive quality management and assurance system, having passed ISO9001 quality system certification and obtained TS certification for the manufacture of special equipment pressure piping.

Analysis of Materials for Pneumatic Three-Way Ball Valves
Pneumatic three-way ball valves usually use rubber, nylon, and polytetrafluoroethylene as the materials for the valve seat sealing rings, so the operating temperature is limited by the material of the valve seat sealing rings. The shut-off function of the ball valve is realized by pressing the metal ball between the plastic valve seats under the action of the medium. The contact pressure of the valve seat sealing ring causes elastic-plastic deformation in certain areas. This deformation corrects the manufacturing accuracy and surface roughness of the three-way ball valve, ensuring the sealing performance of the ball valve. The valve seat sealing rings of pneumatic three-way ball valves are usually made of plastic. Therefore, when selecting the structure and performance of the ball valve, special consideration must be given to the fire resistance and fireproof performance of the ball valve, especially in sectors such as petroleum, chemical industry, and metallurgy. When using ball valves in equipment and pipeline systems with flammable and explosive media, attention must be paid to fire prevention and fire resistance. Pneumatic three-way ball valves are also suitable for light-duty structures, low-pressure shut-off (small pressure difference), and corrosive medium pipeline systems. Ball valves can also be used in low-temperature (cryogenic) devices and pipeline systems. The oxygen pipeline systems in the metallurgical industry require ball valves that have undergone strict degreasing.
